About Me
Hey there, I’m Andy Gibson — a music professional from Gilbertsville, Kentucky. I picked up a guitar when I was ten, played my first paid gig at twelve, and haven’t really stopped since. I like to think of my career in two chapters: Nashville and not-Nashville.
|| Nashville ||
I’ve been blessed to perform and record with a wide array of artists — Tanya Tucker, Trace Adkins, Jamie O’Neal, Dennis Quaid, Jamey Johnson, the Bellamy Brothers, Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Billy Ray Cyrus, Brad Morgan, Johnny Rodriguez, Margo Price, Billy Joe Shaver, and more. Along the way, I’ve checked off some personal bucket-list stages, including the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Nissan Stadium. After spending several years on the road, subbing, and playing artist showcases, I’m now shifting gears to focus on the studio — working as a session musician, songwriter, and producer.

I started working in worship ministry part-time in 2017 at Journey Church in Murray, Kentucky. When the pandemic brought the touring industry to a halt, I was incredibly fortunate to see that part-time role turn into a full-time one — allowing me to keep making a living in music without being on the road 24/7. That shift also opened the door for me to launch a new service in the worship music space — you can learn more about that in the Worship Resources section of this site!
Concurrently, I have also spent thirteen years as a drum and percussion instructor - combining ten years at the high school level and four with Murray State University's Racer Band.
